Your Help Means Hope for Thousands of Iowans

According to University of Iowa medical studies, over 18,000 Iowans are newly diagnosed with cancer each year. It is Strands of Strength’s mission to provide new quality wigs to these cancer patients to help cover the significant hair loss that can accompany treatment. By joining together to raise the funds needed to purchase wigs, and by working closely with area hospitals and cancer treatment centers to screen recipients, Strands of Strength is, quite literally, saving people’s lives.
